Who Are We
Founded by two moms, Snehal and Sai, Giggles & Glee Creative is a vibrant kids enrichment club in Durham Region. We create playful, hands-on spaces where children aged 5 to 12 replace screen time with imagination, developing vital life skills through after-school programs, STEAM workshops, camps, and birthday experiences.
Why We Started Giggles & Glee
We're Sai and Snehal - two moms who started Giggles & Glee because we were looking for something for our own kids: creative, hands-on experiences that would help them build confidence, collaborate, and use their imagination, most importantly, just enjoy being kids.
What we couldn't find was a place that brought all of this together creativity, connection, and real life-skill building - under one roof.
As busy parents ourselves, juggling work, home, and everything in between, sometimes a screen is simply the easiest way to keep a child occupied. We get that!
So we asked ourselves: what if kids had a place where they were excited to step away from screens because they were too busy creating, exploring and having fun?
We wanted to build that place right here in Durham Region not just for our own kids, but for every family looking for the same thing.
That thought became Giggles & Glee! Today, every session is built around 8 core life skills; the same eight arms on our octopus logo, so kids aren't just having fun, they're growing.

As a passionate mom, Snehal saw firsthand how children thrive when given the freedom to explore through creative, messy, and mindful play. Wanting more than standard screen-based pastimes for her children, she set out to build an inclusive hub that nurtures essential life skills like adaptability, confidence, and resourcefulness right here in our community.

Driven by curiosity and a love for collaborative learning, Sai wanted to ensure every young mind had access to rich STEAM experiences that spark genuine wonder. Teaming up with Snehal, she helped bring Giggles & Glee Creative to life to give local families a dedicated space where resilience, empathy, and joy flourish together under one roof.
